Magic Eden announced that it has added support for NFTs to the Polygon blockchain network.
Magic Eden’s Polygon expansion forms part of a move to focus on working with gaming projects on the network. Polygon will thus be the third blockchain network Magic Eden has integrated after Solana and Ethereum. Polygon, a proof-of-stake sidechain running parallel to Ethereum, enables cheaper transactions for Ethereum-based applications.
Magic Eden Launches NFT Support on Polygon Network
Magic Eden has added support for NFT trading on the Polygon network in a move that will increase its ability to work with game projects on the network.
Rather than simply acting as a venue for NFT trading, the firm is looking to expand and capitalize on the emerging blockchain playground at Polygon. Also, the Magic Eden team stated that they can support game developers who want to integrate NFTs by leveraging Polygon.
