Apple is allegedly preparing for a special makeover on the iPhone 15 series that will give its phones an even more premium feel. ShrimpApplePro posted a tweet that the iPhone 15 will have titanium edges. It’s a premium material that costs more than the aluminum used by the iPhone 14 or even the stainless steel used by the iPhone 14 Pro.
The same source also claims that the back of the sides will be rounded, so the bezel will curve towards the back of the phone, unlike the current models, which have more right angles.

The back will apparently still be glass, and ShrimpApplePro says in its next tweet “this design will create a really nice edge transition from the rear to the camera bump”.

However, this is all information that should be treated with suspicion as it’s too early for iPhone 15 leaks, and as the source itself points out, even the source itself doesn’t seem entirely sure of its own information.
Also, even if this turns out to be true, we shouldn’t expect the entire iPhone 15 series to use titanium. The source simply says “iPhone 15” and implies that this material can be used by any model, but it can be predicted that the entire series will not use this material.
Presumably, it will only be used by the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max (or iPhone 15 Ultra, the naming hasn’t been announced yet). In fact, it seems much more likely that only the iPhone 15 Pro Max will use titanium, as another leaker suggested it before.
