Microsoft is trying by all means to resolve the 69 billion-dollar Activision-Blizzard acquisition impasse. Faced with Sony’s competition allegations many times, the company promised PlayStation 10 years of Call of Duty. Microsoft has presented a new offer to PlayStation, increasing the previous 3-year offer.

Microsoft: PlayStation will get Call of Duty for 10 years

A new report shared in the New York Times has revealed the final details of the agreement between Microsoft and Activision-Blizzard. Microsoft, which is in discussion with the EU competition board to get the 69 billion dollar purchase accepted, made a special offer for its rival platform PlayStation.

EU and US competition institutions; He thinks competition will be undermined by the sale of Activision-Blizzard, the developer of various major games such as Call of Duty, Warcraft, and Candy Crush, to Microsoft. Microsoft, on the other hand, states that this agreement is carried out to compete with Tencent in the mobile gaming industry.

Microsoft, which promised to release 10 years of Call of Duty for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, still faced criticism from rival company Sony. Sony stated that the fact that Call of Duty is on Xbox Game Pass for $ 10 is not equivalent to being sold for $ 70 on PlayStation.

Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer emphasized that there are no plans to remove Call of Duty from PlayStation. Although he said that he would not use this agreement against Sony and PlayStation, Sony has not yet made a statement.

Sony has previously pointed out that no other studio can develop a game that users are so attached to. “No other firm can rival Call of Duty, even if it has the budget to develop a similar product,” he said.
