Razer, which is quite ambitious about gaming equipment, has also received great acclaim with its laptops designed for gaming. Now, with the new update, the brand’s laptop model is making another big improvement.
Razer doubles USB speed with new BIOS update
The 14-inch Razer Blade model, which houses the AMD Ryzen 6000 processor, is making significant progress with a new BIOS update. The most important detail in Razor Blade 14, which is expected to host important changes with the update, will be doubling the USB connection speed.
According to the latest reports, Razer will soon introduce the latest USB 4 support to USB Type-C ports for the Blade model. Thus, the transfer rate on the computer will be doubled from 20 GBPS to 40 GBPS. Razer has announced that this update can also benefit external Thunderbolt compatible devices from this speed increase.
By increasing the transfer rate, Razer actually enabled the Ryzen 6000 processor to reach its potential. The computer, which has a Ryzen 6000 processor that currently supports USB 4, will offer twice the transfer speed with the software update to be made.
The update also activates the Microsoft Pluton security processor, which adds new hardware-based security measures on top of the measures required by Windows 11. Although this process does not affect computer performance, it is considered very important in terms of security.
Razer Blade 14 takes a very important step in transfer speed with new updates. At the same time, hardware-based support will be offered to the security solutions that come with Windows 11 with Microsoft Pluton.
