A new BIOS update is being prepared for versions of Razer Blade 14 laptop models that carry the AMD Ryzen 6000 chip. This update for compatible USB Type-C ports brings the latest USB 4 support.
After the update, the data transfer rates of USB Type-C ports increase from 20GBPS to 40GBPS. It is also stated that external accessories with Thunderbolt support will also benefit from this speed increase. Some brands are leaving their USB 4 Type-C ports at the 20GBPS limit, but Razer has fully unlocked the potential.
Another innovation was the unlocking of Microsoft Pluton security chips in the Ryzen 6000 APU series. Thus, hardware-based support will be offered to the security solutions that come with Windows 11.
