Ryzen Threadripper 7000 specs leaked
Both models bearing the codes ‘100-000000884-21_N’ and ‘100-000000884-20_Y’, which are considered to be the flagships of AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 processors, have 96 cores and 192 threads. Again, both processors have a core configuration with a cache pool of 480 MB (384 MB L3 + 96 MB L2). These chips from AMD are made up of 12 CCD Zen 4 clusters in total.
- AMD eng. example: 100-000000884-21_N (96 cores / 192 threads)
- AMD eng. example: 100-000000884-20_Y (96 cores / 192 threads)
- AMD eng. example: 100-000000454-20_Y (64 cores / 128 threads)
The Ryzen Threadripper 7000 family will therefore be built on the Zen 4 architecture and TSMC’s 5nm process. Thanks to the return of the architecture, the processors that will be scaled up to 96 cores will replace the current Chagall series. However, it should be noted that these processors are not designed for the standard user. AMD is designing the Threadripper family entirely for high-end and workstations.
