Version 2.22.23.74 of WhatsApp for iOS and version 2.22.3.77 of WhatsApp for Android are reportedly rolling out the recently announced self-messaging feature to all users. The feature isn’t available to all users yet, and it looks like it might take some time to reach everyone.
To see if you have the self message feature, start a new chat and check if your name appears at the top of your contact list. When you open this chat, you will see a banner that says “Message yourself”.
Messages you send yourself will be visible on all your connected devices and are end-to-end encrypted, according to WABetaInfo.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp and tap on start a new chat icon.
Step 2: You will see that your contacts list opens on the screen and you are at the top of this list.
Step 3: When you tap your name, you will be greeted with the text “Message yourself”.
Step 4: You can now send a message to yourself from this screen.
