Germany-based automobile company Audi has been among the world’s largest automobile manufacturers for many years. The logo of the company with four interlocking rings, which is engraved in everyone’s mind, has been the symbol of the company for nearly a century.
Audi, which has renewed its iconic logo many times before, has now announced that it has made a change in this regard once again. The automaker introduced its updated new logo. In the new logo, it is seen that there is no change in the iconic rings, while it is a two-dimensional, more minimalist and flat design.
Here is Audi’s renewed logo
The company states that the new logo will give the vehicles a more ‘modern’ look. We can see that the logo is created with white rings on a black background. This look also aims to make the logo highly visible from afar.
Audi’s designer Andre Georgi also said, “The new two-dimensional appearance makes our corporate identity unique while offering a more modern look. Black details around the rings provide a consistent, premium look whatever the color of the vehicle. We want the four rings to look the same in cars, billboards, smartphones and many more places in the future.”
Let’s add that different variations of the new logo are coming, including a black and gray design. These will also have a two-dimensional design. In addition, the renewed Audi logo made its first appearance on the Q8 E-tron introduced last week. In other words, we will see this logo in the new models that will come in the future.
With this move, Audi joined the car manufacturers who renewed their logo. Many different brands, from Bugatti to Citroen, have changed their iconic logos before. If you are wondering about the new logos of these companies, you can take a look at our content below;
