The Witcher series became popular with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and became a cult. CD Projekt Red, the company behind the series, has recently announced that the patch will arrive in December, staying true to its “next generation update” promise.
The Witcher 3 next-gen update arrives in December
In the statement made on The Witcher’s official Twitter account, it has been confirmed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt next generation update will arrive on December 14. The upgrade, which is free to anyone who has previously purchased the game, will include dozens of visual, performance and technical improvements over the original game. These include support for ray tracing, faster loading times on consoles, and various mods integrated into the experience, among many other things.
More details on these integrated mods and other features will be revealed during a livestream next week on CD Projekt Red’s official Twitch account. In the new patch, we will also see inspirations from Netflix’s The Witcher production. Frankly, it would be nice to set foot on the Continent again with new graphics.
