Asus phones that will receive Android 13 were eagerly awaited. ASUS announced the Android 13 beta program for the ZenFone 9 model in August. The company has announced the official Android 13 distribution plan for several phones including this model.ASUS Zenfone 9 will receive the update this December. The Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip models, which came out with Android 11 last year, will also be updated to Android 13 in January. Coming with Android 10 in mid-2020, Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro are not among the models that will receive Android 13; Android 12 may be the last major update for these models.
When we look at the ROG series, the first model to receive Android 13 is the ROG Phone 6D series with Dimensity 9000 Plus processor and the ROG Phone 6 series with Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, as you can imagine. The update to these models will come in the first quarter of 2023.
The rollout is expected to be gradual, as ASUS says the update will connect from December 2022; It will take time to reach all devices globally.
