Call from Apple’s ad agency to stop ads
Omnicom, which represents Apple, advises its customers not to spend any more money on advertising on Twitter. It was stated that the call to suspend these ads was made for the short term for now.
Image-damaging events such as Elon Musk’s firing of people, identity theft coming to light, senior executives resigning, and non-compliance with the guidelines of some rules set by the Federal Trade Commission on this social media platform led Omnicom to describe Twitter as unsafe.
Omnicom reportedly took to Twitter to dispel their own concerns. It was stated that the advertising agency, which wanted to get rid of its worries, could not get what it wanted from Twitter for now.
Major companies such as General Mills, Deutsche Bank, United Airlines, Air Canada and REI also stopped advertising on Twitter. The fact that Elon Musk frequently changes his mind, does not make reassuring statements to the markets and exhibits suspicious behavior continues to shake the future of Twitter.
