NASA officials on alert for Artemis I rocket
The expiration date of some components in the booster engine that enables the launch of Artemis I marks next month. One of these parts will cease to function after December 9, 2022. The other part will not be available after 14 December 2022.
NASA officials will re-examine many of these components, but the planned inspections do not guarantee that Artemis I parts will somehow extend (postpone to) the predetermined expiration dates for parts or pass the relevant parts for use beyond their expiration date.
If no action is taken on this date, we will not be able to see the Orion capsule for a while. It is known that NASA will focus on Mars between 2030 and 2040, and the missions dreamed of during this period need this propellant used in Artemis I.
