A Canadian coffee shop has opened the world’s first Bitcoin ATM to the public. This work done in 2013 served as a teller machine operated by Robocoin.
The Bitcoin ATM saw 348 transactions in its first opening week, reaching a volume of $ 100,000. Nine years later, Robocoin ceased operations and possibly the first ATM was also removed. However, globally adopted BTC has reached 38,804 ATMs worldwide.
