Devices with M1 processors, which have managed to attract the attention of many people in terms of both performance and power consumption since the day they were introduced, draw attention with their high sales ratio in the laptop market.
Apple’s M1 processor tops ARM laptop market share
Stating that Apple had the majority of the market share in 2021, the researchers announced that the ARM market grew nine times in 2020.
ARM laptop market, which has tripled in size and reached 949 million dollars in 2021, is quite ambitious when it comes to competing with x86 architecture.
Stating that Apple has 79 percent of the ARM laptop market, analysts underlined that devices with M1 processors exceed expectations.
MediaTek, which is in the second place with a market share of 18 percent, managed to surpass Qualcomm, which has a 3 percent market share in the ARM laptop market.
It is expected that new ARM-based laptop processors will not be introduced at Apple’s Unleashed event on October 18.
