Tim Cook Waving the Checkered Flag in Formula 1 [Video]

The US Grand Prix, the nineteenth race of the Formula 1 2022 calendar, was held this weekend. In the race, in which Max Verstappen was victorious, Lewis Hamilton took the podium again, while Charles Leclerc took third place.

Behind the checkered flag that these three names saw as they crossed the finish line on the last lap was an unpredictable name. The checkered flag of the 2022 US GP was waved by Apple CEO Tim Cook. Or tried to swing.

In the US Grand Prix, as in every Grand Prix, the checkered flag was handed over to one of the country’s leading figures. But Tim Cook, who was carrying this flag and signaling to the drivers that the race was over, seemed to have a little trouble waving the flag.

As Cook waved the flag, he made facial expressions as if he didn’t want to be there at all, moving the flag from left to right in a casual way. Of course, this situation also caused some funny reactions from social media:
