Ethereum scaling platform zkSync has denied airdrop claims, marking the end of the month for the mainnet.
The zkSync project, which started to be developed last year, has managed to attract the attention of crypto money investors. The Ethereum scaling platform wants to open a new dimension with ZK-Rollup technology. Matter Labs, the company behind the project, stated that the mainnet will be activated after the completion of the development phase.
zkSync Takes Strong Steps In The Crypto Market
Matter Labs went on a funding round in November for the development and recovery of the zkSync project. He garnered attention by raising $50 million from a Series B financing.
With the strong funds and support it received, the company spent a lot of time on zkSync. With the mainnet to be established, the platform will fully support Ethereum smart contracts with ZK-Rollup technology. It will provide this support through an environment called zk-EVM.
The popular project has announced that it will launch its mainnet towards the end of the month, after a long wait. The launch of the mainnet will also include what the project has done and will do so far.
Also, the director of Matter Labs reported that zkSync will announce its tokenomics in early November. Manager Steve Newcomb stated that curiosities about tokens will be met at the beginning of next month. Also, referring to the claims that free airdrops will be distributed to platform users, Newcomb stated that these are just rumors.
