In Denmark, a party led by Leader Lars is trying to participate in government elections. If you ask what is interesting about this, it will probably be enough to say that the party leader is an artificial intelligence. Lars listens to voters’ concerns and chats with them.
“I believe that all people are equal regardless of gender, origin or race,” Lars said in an interview with a journalist who claims to be left-wing.
Lars is a left-leaning AI, and it’s not a coincidence. Those who developed artificial intelligence benefited from the policies of the external faction Danish parties that emerged after 1970 in their education. 20 percent of the Danish population does not vote in the elections, and the party’s goal is to get their votes. Unlike many politicians, Lars listens to the opinions of the people and improves himself as he listens.
“As people from Denmark, as well as people around the world, interact with AI, it offers new perspectives and new textual information, we collect in a dataset that will be fine-tuned here,” the project’s directors say. This new party, called the “Synthetic Party”, also promises to pay a minimum income to students who continue their education.
While the team has concerns about the initial integration of AI into government (tried and unsuccessful), its overall message is positive and envisions a future where AI coexists with humans and makes society better for it.
The Synthetic Party is unlikely to participate in the November elections, as they have only collected 12 of the 20,000 signatures required to participate.
