Announced specifically for China, the ISOCELL HPX offers high performance, but has some trimmings compared to other 200MP sensors. Going to a 20% reduction in sensor size, Samsung uses 0.56 micron pixels in this sensor. The sensor, which can easily produce 200MP photos in bright environments, can produce 50MP and 12.5MP images in low-light environments with pixel merging algorithms.
It stands out with its features such as 8K 30fps video recording, double HDR in 4K and FHD recordings, Smart ISO, Super QPD autofocus and 14-bit color detection. ISOCELL HPX will be used by many China-based companies in the coming months.
