Tether, the largest stablecoin issuer by market capitalization, will serve more than 24,000 ATMs based in Brazil.

Tether Operations Limited, the parent company of stablecoin issuer Tether (USDT), has partnered with SmartPay. As a result of the partnership, SmartPay will integrate USDTs into the system with its platform. The company, which will provide integration according to its own platform unit, will run Tether’s Brazil operation. At more than 24,000 ATMs, millions of people will have access to the new financial method.

Tether can be withdrawn from ATM

Tether has linked its operations in Brazil to 34 million users who do not yet have a bank account. The company will create a new option for people who stay away from or want to get away from the central system.

Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino said:

The difficulties posed by inflation and the financial system have prevented most Brazilian citizens from participating in the country’s growing economy. Brazil offers the opportunity to include more people in the financial system. This will bring major changes not only in the payments sector, but in the entire Brazilian financial ecosystem.

Tether tokens have managed to become the cryptocurrency that Brazilians show the most interest. According to the analysis, the people of the country realized an influx of approximately 1.4 billion dollars. Inflation and economic conditions in the country are pushing investors to new financial models.

The partnership with SmartPay will work with TecBan, Brazil’s largest ATM service provider. Companies that will integrate TecBan and USDT aim to provide convenience to people.
