Instagram users can unfollow their followers without blocking them. By clicking the remove button in your follower list, you can unfollow the user you want.
Twitter, which has introduced a new Security Mode feature to test users in the past months, will block accounts for 7 days in cases of abuse or spam. Thanks to the developed algorithm, Twitter makes pinpoint detections and aims to prevent troll accounts.

Twitter follower removal feature can only be done on the website for now. It is not yet known when the new feature will be available on mobile apps.
How to remove followers on Twitter?
- Click on the tab with your followers by logging into your profile.
- Click on the three-dot icon next to the account you want to unfollow which user in the follower list you come across.
- You can make the person unfollow you by clicking the “Remove this follower” button on the screen.
