READING NOW India plans to use Polygon Blockchain

As in many countries, the interest in the crypto money sector in India is extremely large. Most recently, the police department of Firozabad, India, announced that it plans to use the Polygon (MATIC) Blockchain to record complaints, as part of accelerating the public complaints resolution process.

As part of the system, when a complaint is registered, it will generate the Blockchain. In addition, the police station near the place where the complaint was made will have a special QR code that will direct the reports to the complaint form.

Notably, after the complaint has been filed, an Initial Information Report (FIR) will be prepared if the police determine that a formal investigation is necessary.

Ashish Tiwari from the Indian Police Service explained the issue as follows:

“The benefit of using blockchain is that the complaints recorded on it cannot be changed as the recorded data is immutable and transparent”
