Netflix’s rapidly popular Squid Game series is definitely not a children’s series, even though its subject is children’s games. One of the best proofs of this comes from Belgium. In a school in Belgium, it is reported that children imitate the drama on the playground and beat the losers of the games.

According to The Brussels Times, students at the Erquelinnes Beguinage Hainaut school were inspired by the series. Known as Red Light, Green Light in the US, and apparently 1, 2, 3 Piano in Belgium, the stop-start game doesn’t end well.

“We must be vigilant to stop this unhealthy and dangerous game,” a representative of the school said on its Facebook page this week. In this article, it is stated that children can still play the game, but they should not hurt the losers.

In the series, the first game played by the cash-strapped contestants in the tournament is called Red Light, Green Light. Contestants enter the competition hoping to win big money, but before long, a giant robot doll “Red Light!” After calling it (Red Light), they learn that if they move, they will be shot to death. Those who successfully cross the finish line are allowed to continue the games.
