Google Cloud Will Accept Payments With Crypto

At Google’s Cloud Next conference, Google Cloud and Coinbase announced that they have formed a partnership to provide a more comprehensive service to the Web3 ecosystem and its developers. As part of this partnership, Coinbase will transfer all of its data-related applications from Amazon Web Services cloud services to Google’s applications. Google Cloud, on the other hand, will accept payments for cloud services from certain customers, starting with those in the Web3 ecosystem, through certain cryptocurrencies, thus increasing the payment options for Google Cloud services. The new payment experience powered by Coinbase Commerce will be used for merchants to accept cryptocurrency payments in a decentralized manner. Payments can be made with a total of 10 different cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum and Litecoin.

“We are delighted that Google Cloud has chosen Coinbase to help bring Web3 to a new set of users and provide powerful solutions to developers,” said Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, in a press release. He used his expressions. Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, said: “We want to make Web3 faster and easier to build, and this partnership with Coinbase helps developers get one step closer to that goal. We are proud that Coinbase has chosen Google Cloud as its strategic cloud partner, and we stand ready to serve the thriving global ecosystem of Web3 customers and partners.”

There is another development regarding Coinbase. Coinbase received approval in principle to operate in Singapore.
