According to Bloomberg, American entrepreneur Elon Musk will turn the social network Twitter into a universal application that combines various services such as receiving money, sending money, chatting, ordering food, calling a taxi, and following news and entertainment content.
About to buy Twitter
Known for his provocative statements and actions, Musk is ready to spend nearly $44 billion to acquire Twitter. The famous entrepreneur had offered to buy the platform for the last 5 months, found investors, inspired the company management, and then stopped buying due to the large number of bots. Now he has decided to go back to his original pre-trial offer.
The app, which Musk calls X for now and can be used for “everything”, means a “super app” like Chinese WeChat, Russian VK and even TikTok, which, in addition to the microblogging platform, has dozens of different services for every need. It is reported that the American entrepreneur plans to implement this “crazy project” in 3 to 5 years. Musk also expressed his admiration for Chinese WeChat in his previous statements.
