The website of Roskomsvoboda’s Seychelles-based cryptocurrency exchange OKX has reportedly been blocked in Russia.

It is not known why the ban was imposed by Russia. It is also stated that no previous public comments have been made by the agency regarding OKX.

Artem Kozlyuk, founder of Roskomsvoboda, said that owners of blacklisted websites do not know why they were blacklisted. At the same time, he stated that they should file a lawsuit against Roskomnadzor to find out why this decision was made.

CoinDesk’s report states that the ban can also be seen in the official database of Russia’s internet censorship agency Roskomnadzor. The OKX website was blocked based on article 15.3 of the federal law on Information Technology and Information Protection, according to the Roskomnadzor registry.
