Presenting the 12S series to users at its event in July, Xiaomi is preparing to showcase the 12T series, which has been on the agenda for a long time with allegations and leaks. Recently, there has been a significant increase in the number of leaks related to smartphones. Finally, the designs of smartphones have become largely clear.

Xiaomi 12T design revealed

Roland Quandt, who came to the fore with his leaks in the industry, shared the render images that reveal the back panel designs of the upcoming Xiaomi 12T series. Accordingly, the smartphones will be largely similar to the Xiaomi 12 and 12S series in terms of design. Because the back panels of the devices look exactly like their predecessors.

Apart from that, if we consider the leaks shared in the past weeks, we can say that the design of the Xiaomi 12T series has been finalized. However, there are still critical shortcomings on the technical side. We will probably learn about this before or during the event.

Three different color options will be offered to users in the series, namely blue, black and silver. On the other hand, they will come to global markets as Xiaomi 12T. In addition, they will go on sale in China under the names Redmi K50S and 50S Pro.

The Xiaomi 12T model is expected to use a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will also go on sale with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB of storage. The device, which is also ambitious on the camera side, will have a triple camera setup consisting of 108 Megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM6 main, 8 Megapixel Samsung S5K4H7 ultra wide angle and 2 Megapixel macro sensor. A 20 Megapixel sensor is waiting for us at the front.

The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor. The chipset with a 5 nm architecture houses four 2.85 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 and four 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores, in addition to the Mali-G610 MC6 graphics unit.
