Liverpool Football Club (LFC) has extended its commercial agreement with fantasy sports game platform Sorare.

Sorare was the first partner of Liverpool, which has made two different attacks in the field of Blockchain in the past years. As part of the first collaboration between Liverpool and Sorare, NFTs of top team players, notably Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk, were released on Sorare’s platform. Looking to deepen its ties with blockchain, Liverpool extended its partnership.

Liverpool and Sorare Partnership Grows

Liverpool has announced that it wants to deepen its ties to the crypto world by expanding its partnership with blockchain-based sports startup Sorare.

The online fantasy sports game that the partnership grew up around features licensed digital sports cards that players can use to form teams that compete with each other. Within the scope of the extension agreement, it is stated that advantages such as stadium visits, matchday experiences, product and video content will be offered as prizes to the winners of the online game.

Described as the first of its kind, the partnership will also provide enhanced opportunities for Liverpool to engage with new fans worldwide through Sorare, which has users in 185 countries.
