Samsung, which is one of the first names that comes to mind when it comes to technology company, often comes up with many different products from smartphones to monitors. It has been talked about for a while that the company, which integrates new technologies into its devices, has developed a phone with a scrollable screen. In the past months, it has been seen thanks to a patent that it has been revealed that it is working on a flexible and slidable phone that gets longer as you pull it.
Now it turns out that Samsung has filed a trademark application for flexible display technology. The application, which appears to have been filed with the Korean Intellectual Property Rights Information Service (KIPRIS), included the two devices and their names.
‘Slidable Flex Solo’ and ‘Slidaple Flex Duet’
It was seen that the names of the devices that appeared in the application were ‘Slidable Flex Solo’ and ‘Slidable Flex Duet’. It can be said that these names that do not contain the phrase ‘Galaxy’ are highly likely to be nicknames for devices.
Samsung had shown its scrollable device concepts for the first time at the Display event held in May. One of these prototypes was called ‘Slidable Wide’. The news revealed that this device, which has a design that expands to the side and enlarges the viewing area as you shoot, can also be associated with the newly emerged ‘Slidable Flex Duet’.
