When we look at the research of Sensor Tower, it is seen that Turkey is the 7th country with the highest number of downloads in the Google Play Store in the 2020-2021 period.
Game return on the App Store is 42 percent
According to Sensor Tower data, games are at the top of the categories that are expected to make the most money in the App Store in 2025, with 42 percent. While photography and video applications constitute 13 percent of the categories that will generate the most revenue, entertainment applications are expected to generate 11 percent. According to the data, non-game apps will have a 58 percent share in the App Store in terms of earnings.
Game is the leading category with 71 percent on Google Play.
The research shows that the category expected to make the most money in the Google Play Store in 2025 is games with 71 percent. In the application store, where non-game applications are expected to generate 29% of revenue, social media applications are expected to make 5 percent of money.
