As reported by 9to5Mac, some iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max owners have shared videos on social media platforms like Twitter, Reddit, and TikTok showing the device camera behaving strangely in third-party apps. Looking at the images, it is striking that the camera of the new phones is shaking and an interesting “squeaking sound” comes from the Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) module.
As it is known, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max use a second-generation OIS system that physically moves the sensor to counteract the effect of camera shake. For this reason, we can say that the new problem that occurs only in third-party applications such as Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat is experienced on the software side rather than the hardware.
