According to Gromen, Bitcoin could become a good option for the United States if China and Russia choose to hoard gold. The macroeconomist also emphasized that US officials still see Bitcoin as a threat to the dollar.

While Gromen acknowledges that Bitcoin threatens the dollar, he does not believe that the asset can replace the dollar. He also pointed out that it was a mistake to see Bitconi as a balloon.
