The game world began to develop rapidly, especially in 2015 and later. While gigantic studios gradually started producing repetitive games, independent developers started making games with low graphics, but with their story and gameplay mechanics.
Hollow Knight, one of the biggest representatives of this new trend, reminded the players that realistic 3D graphics are not everything after its release in 2017. After the very popular first game, the developer team announced Hollow Knight: Silksong, the sequel to the series, at the beginning of 2019.
The game is also coming to PlayStation 4 and 5
Stating that they will put a lot on the fluid and fun mechanics of the first game, the team was first announced for Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch. Later, at the Xbox event last June, it was announced that the game would be added to Xbox Game Pass on the day of its release. In all this joy and excitement, PlayStation users were left almost like a bent orphan.
Team Cherry studio, which does not give a hand to this unhappiness of PlayStation users, announced that the game will be offered to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users with a statement made today. The first game of the series, Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition, took its place both on the PlayStation Store and was added to the PlayStation Plus service introduced this year and offered for free to subscribers.
Although the exact release date of the second game of the series, which has a huge fan base around the world, is not known, at the last Xbox event, the producer team announced that the game will be released before June 2023. The game is currently wishlisting on Steam, Xbox Store, PlayStation Store and Nintendo Store.
