Galaxy Z Flip 4 undergoes burn, scratch and bending tests
Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 are the renewed 2nd generation Samsun foldable models. Samsung’s new big foldable phone Galaxy Z Fold4 passed the durability test of JerryRigEverything at the end of last month. Now it’s time for the Galaxy Z Flip4.
A YouTube video has surfaced showing JerryRigEverything’s endurance test for the Galaxy Z Flip4. In the video, the Z Flip4 went through burn, scratch, and bend tests. In the scratch tests in the video, it starts to scratch at the sixth level according to the Mohs hardness scale on the rear panel of the model. When it reaches the seventh level, it is possible to see that serious scratches have occurred.
Flip4 has an elastic front cover as it is foldable. Because of this, scratches on the screen become visible on the second level. It is noteworthy that the phone is particularly vulnerable to nail impacts.
In addition to these, it is possible to say that the phone is successful in the hinge tests in the following part of the video. However, when there is a fire, we see that the smartphone is unstable and the screen coating melts.
When the test came to the bending test, it was revealed that more cracks were spread from the phone than the previous generation. In addition, although the smartphone screen remained active throughout the video, it lost the ability to turn off afterwards. Additionally, although the screen cracked more than before, there was no apparent deterioration.
