READING NOW NASA has given a new date for the Moon mission!

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) launched the Artemis project to send mankind back to the Moon. Continuing to work for this purpose, NASA wanted to send its first rocket to space last week for the Artemis I mission. However, the rocket could not be sent into space due to the resulting fuel leak.

The Artemis I rocket will be fired again at the end of September

NASA stated that it has started to work to solve the problems that have arisen in the Artemis I rocket with its statement recently. The Space Agency plans to make the rocket ready to launch again later this month, after studies and tests.

NASA made several unsuccessful attempts to fix the leak during the launch countdown on Saturday, September 3. However, officials who determined that the problem was bigger, postponed the launch to another date.

NASA officials announced that work on the launch pad continues and experts aim to complete the replacement of gaskets in the fuel system soon. After all this work, a preliminary test run for the rockets will be conducted on September 17 to confirm that the problems have been resolved.

If all studies and tests are successful, NASA aims to send the Artemis I rocket back into space at the end of this month. In this context, NASA has requested new dates from the US Space Force to send its rocket into space.

In this context, the Space Agent conveyed its demands for launch trials for September 23 and 27. The Artemis I rocket is expected to be sent back into space on one of these dates. If NASA’s request is not accepted, there is a possibility that the mission may be postponed to October.

The Artemis I rocket, which will take off without a crew, will set off into space with the Orion capsule. As part of the mission, the Orion capsule is planned to orbit the Moon and return to Earth again. It is stated that the duration of this task will take approximately 1 month.

Let’s see if NASA can take the first step of the Moon mission this time. So what do you think about NASA’s Moon mission? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
