Nvidia, which is preparing to introduce RTX 40 series graphics cards with Ada Lovelace architecture soon, seems to continue to diversify the RTX 30 series. A new report shared by MEGAsizeGPU has revealed that Nvidia is working on RTX 3060 8GB, RTX 3060Ti powered by GDDR6X memory, and RTX 3070Ti with GA102 chip.

Three new models can be added to the series

According to the reports, the RTX 3060, which has been updated with an 8GB memory solution among the new cards, will meet users with less memory capacity and 128-bit bus compared to the main model with 12GB memory and 192-bit memory bus. Thus, the RTX 3060 8GB, which is expected to be a new affordable alternative among mid-range cards, will offer 240GB/s memory bandwidth, 120GB/s less than its predecessor.

As for other cards, the leakster says that the RTX 3070Ti model, which houses the GA104 chip, will be updated in the future with the GA102 chip that powers the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 models. However, considering that Nvidia will disable 4608 CUDA cores in this new configuration, we can definitely say that it will offer less power efficiency.

The latest development will be experienced in NVIDIA’s most popular mid-range graphics card, the RTX 3060Ti. Although details have not been shared yet, the card is expected to be updated with GDDR6X memory and offer higher bandwidth.
