The Redmi A1+ appeared in the IMEI database last week with the model number 220733SFG. The smartphone recently appeared on the Google Play Console with the same model number. According to Simarpal Singh, who is known for leaks in the industry, the device will be the same as the Redmi A1 released today morning in terms of technical features.
If the rumors are true, the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 processor. The chipset, produced for budget-friendly devices, has a 12 nm architecture. On the other hand, it houses four 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A53 cores and PowerVR GE8320 graphics unit.
The device will have 3GB of RAM. Apart from that, it will run Android 12 operating system out of the box. Features like LTE, 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 will also be available. Finally, it will come with a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
