New information continues to come from Nvidia’s upcoming GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards. Finally, the three-fan design of the engineering sample model, which was recently stated to be the RTX 4090 Ti, has emerged. Now, it is pointed out that the RTX 4080 will come in two different models, 16 GB and 12 GB.
We can see two different PCB designs
What will Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 Ti offer?
It is expected that the RTX 40 series, which is shaped on Ada Lovelace architecture, will be introduced in September and will enter the market in October. By the end of the year, high-end graphics cards are expected to be released first, as in the previous Ampere generation. Accordingly, the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 will be the first cards to enter the market.
However, according to the information shared by MEGAsizeGPU, Nvidia is currently working on the RTX 4080, which has two different PCB designs. Stating that the RTX 4080 will have a 12 GB ten-layer PCB and a 16 GB twelve-layer PCB design, the leak source states that GDDR6X memory will be used on both cards. In addition, the RTX 4080 is expected to have 9728 CUDA cores and an AD103 chip with a TDP of 340W.
This year, we will see both the new Radeon RX 7000 series by AMD and the new GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards by Nvidia. Both companies are expected to enter the market with their top models first. We can say that the “Ti” models on the Nvidia side will take their place on the shelves in 2023.
