Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, claimed in an interview that he knew that the past bull market was going to end.
The crypto market caught a bearish trend with the collapse of Terra in the middle of 2022 and is still holding its streak. Saying that he predicted the end of the long-running bull market in the past period, Vitalik Buterin shared his views on this crypto decline.
Vitalik Buterin Says He Knows The Bull Market Will End
In a recent interview with Noah Smith, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said that during the bullish period, many considered these high prices the “new normal” but he predicted that this bubble would burst.
Stating that the previous bull market lasted for about a year and a half and overexpanded, creating a bubble, Buterin stated that he thinks that crypto bubbles typically last up to nine months, which has an effect on the decline in the market.
According to Buterin, this latest drop is not indicative of a fundamental flaw in the market. Buterin believes that the volatility experienced in his Bitcoin will decrease significantly in the long run.
