The Internet Archive digital library has raised the bar with the release of a new Wayforward Machine to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
Those who visit the Wayback Machine, the favorite platform to see how websites have looked in the past, will know. Unlike the Wayback Machine, which shows the old appearances of the websites from the past to the present and transports the visitors to the past with this structure, Wayforward Machine carries the visitors to the future.
Wayforward Machine draws conclusions about what today’s websites will look like in 2046, while seeking answers to the question of what the future of the internet will be.
