The 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens with 1.0µm (micrometer) pixels, currently on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, will be replaced by the 1.4µm pixels that will be found in this year’s Pro models. According to Kuo, with the new components added, the cost on the camera side will increase by 70 percent. The ultra-wide-angle camera components in the iPhone 14 Pro models will be supplied by Sony, Minebea, VCM, Largan and LG Innotek.

The new iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will feature a 48-megapixel main camera that allows 8K video capture.
