After the official release of Android 13, Google now went to update the Android Beta Program page and shared the first information for the new upcoming operating system Android 14. The software giant started distributing the Android 13 update for Pixel phones about two weeks ago.
Sharing how it will continue its quarterly platform update roadmap from September 2022, Google points out when Android 14 Beta will start. According to the information revealed in the changes made in the frequently asked questions section of the Android Beta page, Android 13 QPR (Quarterly Platform Releases) beta updates will continue until March 2023, and then Android 14 Beta versions will begin.
Android 14 will arrive in April
Google previously announced that it will continue Android 13 QPR updates until June 2023. However, the company avoids running two beta programs at the same time by pushing the roadmap earlier. According to the shared information, Android 14 Beta versions will probably start coming to Pixel devices first in April. Similarly, the Android 14 developer preview will likely be released in February. Google used similar dates in Android 13.
