Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon will focus on the Targaryen family. Set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series is based on George R. R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood” novel published last year.
Beginning with Aegon Targaryen’s conquest of the Seven Kingdoms, “Fire & Blood” tells the story of the Targaryens throughout the generations that followed Aegon. The Targaryans’ struggles to protect the Iron Throne and their war among themselves are among the events covered in the book “Dance of the Dragons”.
