LG has unveiled its curved OLED gaming monitor to be showcased at IFA 2022 in September. The LG UltraGear 45GR95QE is the company's first OLED gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate.

LG introduced a curved OLED gaming monitor with its new monitor UltraFine DisPlay Ergo AI, which can automatically adjust height and tilt with artificial intelligence technology. Both curved screens bring new technologies to LG’s consumer products.

LG UltraGear OLED gaming monitor was introduced as an ideal monitor for immersive gaming. The first 45-inch monitor with 800R curvature, in addition to a 240Hz refresh rate. WQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, 0.1 millisecond gray-to-gray response time, 98.5% DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10 and VRR are among the prominent features of the monitor.

The UltraGear gaming monitor also features an anti-glare and anti-reflective coating and a borderless design to maintain viewing quality. Having HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports, the monitor supports picture-by-picture and picture-in-picture features.

Monitor that adjusts itself according to eye movements

LG UltraFine Display Ergo AI model has a built-in artificial intelligence camera that can analyze the user’s posture. The monitor automatically adjusts the tilt and height of the screen by following the user’s eyes. The maximum tilt angle is 40 degrees and the height can be adjusted as 160 millimeters. It is a nice feature to prevent posture disorder that occurs over time. The user can set the monitor in three different modes. It is possible to leave the tilt angle under the control of artificial intelligence and to make it change automatically or at regular intervals.

UltraFine Display Ergo AI, which has a 31.5 inch 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution, IPS panel, 95% DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR display, has LG’s second generation Ergo stand. The Ergo stand makes it possible to ergonomically expand and contract the screen, swivel, swivel, raise and tilt the screen.

Price and release date information has not been shared for the LG UltraGear OLED gaming monitor and UltraFine Display Ergo AI. It will be introduced at the IFA to be held in Berlin from 2 to 6 September.
