Although PlayStation 5 is a console with high-end technical features, it has often been on the agenda with stock problems since its first release. When factors such as exchange rate fluctuations and additional taxes were added to all these, it became very difficult to buy the console, especially in our country. Finally, Sony announced in a blog post it published yesterday that it has made a noticeable increase in almost all markets except the USA.
While Sony explained its decision to raise the PlayStation 5 in the form of inflation and negativity in the exchange rate, naturally all eyes were turned to Microsoft, one of the company’s biggest competitors in this field. So, will the company increase the prices of Xbox Series XIS consoles? An explanation has come on the matter.
Is Microsoft raising Xbox prices?
After Sony increased the prices of the PS5 console by 10 percent in Europe and up to 6 percent in markets such as the UK, Microsoft made a statement for the Xbox Series XIS. The company said in a statement to Windows Central that it has no plans to change the prices of the two consoles.
Taking this statement, we can say that the Xbox Series XIS price tags will not change in the USA, UK and Europe. Of course, it is a mystery for now whether there will be any developments in the future.
