Apple’s policy, which started with the iPhone 12 and removed the adapter from the boxes in order not to harm the environment, is spreading rapidly in the mobile world. A similar policy can be applied on Redmi phones after Samsung and Xiaomi.

The adapter does not come out of the box of the Redmi Note 11 SE model, which was launched in India yesterday and is the rename of the Redmi Note 10S model. To date, all Redmi phones sold in the country have included an adapter. So for the first time a Redmi phone will be sold without an adapter.

Since no official statement has been made yet, it is not clear whether it is a one-time policy or whether it will continue. However, Xiaomi also started to remove the adapter from the boxes since the Mi 11 period. In this respect, the adapter decision means lower cost for a brand that focuses on cost.
The charging adapter policy, which provided significant savings to manufacturers, also started a new era in the accessory market. In this regard, it is quite possible that more manufacturers will remove the adapter from the box in the near future.
