Cardano, which has been criticized for delayed updates, is halfway through to the Vasil hard fork upgrade.

In the past days, criticism has come from the Cardano community over the delay of the Vasil hard fork update. Cardano CEO Charles Hoskinson, on the other hand, stated that he was in the final testing stages and said that he did not expect more delays to users. Cardano has made new headway for the Vasil Hard Fork by accelerating its work.

Cardano Accelerates Transition to Vasil Hard Fork

Cardano has chosen the heavily tested version for the upcoming Vasil hard fork upgrade. According to data provided by PoolTool, 46 percent of share pool operators (SPOs) Nodes have been updated to version 1.35.3 released last week.

Speaking about the update on a live stream recently, Charles Hoskinson reassured investors that there are no quality issues with the Vasil upgrade. Hoskinson also noted that discussions about complex technical issues should be kept off social media.

The Vasil upgrade was originally supposed to go live on the mainnet in early June, but has been delayed several times due to technical difficulties. The ambitious upgrade is expected to greatly improve Cardano’s scaling capabilities.
