According to new information in Gizmochina, Asus wants to expand the ROG Phone 6 series. The new ROG Phone 6D, which will feature MediaTek’s most powerful chipset, Dimensity 9000 Plus, has been spotted on a new certification list. The device is expected to enter the market as a high-end flagship.

The new device, with the code names “ASUS_AI2203_A” and “ASUS_AI2203_B”, appeared on the RoHS certification list of Asus’ official website. The fact that the smartphone has the “D” designation supports the claim that it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset.

In addition to the chipset, the display of the Asus ROG Phone 6D will be produced by Samsung Display. Although the screen size is not known yet, it is possible to say that it will be the same (6.78 inches) as the ROG Phone 6. However, leaks reported that it will come with a refresh rate of 165 Hz.

The new model, which will have 65W fast charging support, will be powered by a 6000mAh battery. On the camera side, it was stated that it will include a 50 Megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor. ROG Phone 6 has a triple setup of 50 Megapixels, 13 Megapixels and 5 Megapixels.

Except for the Dimensity 9000 Plus, most features of the new phone look the same as the ROG Phone 6. It should also be noted that the ROG Phone 6 series has the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. The launch date of the new ROG 6D is uncertain for now.
