Acquired by Google, Fitbit still continues to offer its own services, even after years. Stating that it will integrate Fitbit features into its Pixel Watch device, the company apparently wants the Fitbit brand to continue. The Play Services APK file analyzed by 9to5Google contains items about Google Wallet and Ftibit.
The app comes with a new menu, which has drawings of a Fitbit designed smartwatch. In addition, the images are defined as Fitbit illustrations within the code. It looks like Google will allow at least some Fitbit devices to use Google Wallet. According to 9to5Google’s estimation, you will be able to add Google Wallet to your Fitbit Wallet instead of replacing Google Wallet with the Fitbit Wallet app on Fitbit devices.
