This roadster-type vehicle, which will be the last vehicle of the company with the iconic W16 engine, has attracted attention with its features. The price of the car was demoralizing. The W16 engine, which started to be used with Veryon in 2005, will appear for the last time with the Mistral Roadster. Dazzling with its design, the car draws attention as an open-top model. The vehicle, which has 1,600 horsepower, has the same engine as the eight-liter engine with four turbochargers of the Chiron Super Sport model, which broke the speed record in 2019.
Bugatti states that it wants the Mistral, which has a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive, to be the fastest roadster in the world. While the curved glass is seen on the front of the vehicle, the iconic grille we encounter in Bugatti cars is designed to be seen in three dimensions.
Taking its name from a wind blowing in France, Mistral has black and yellow colors inspired by the Bugatti Type 57 Roadster Grand Raid of the 1930s. At the rear, X-shaped headlights are seen, while the company’s placement of ventilation holes for cooling is striking.
As for the interior design, we can say that the company designed the interior of Mistral quite similar to the Chiron. It can be said that one of the minor changes made is the gearbox with the wooden part bearing the famous dancing elephant motif of Rembrandt Bugatti. We’re also seeing woven leather doors on a W16 Bugatti for the first time with Mistral. When looking at other details such as the instrument panel and steering wheel, there is no big difference from the Chiron.
The price of the vehicle, which will be produced only 99 units, is 5 million dollars.
Let’s come to the price of this super car. According to the statements, only 99 units will be produced and the delivery will start in 2024, Mistral will have an astronomical price of 5 million dollars (90.5 million liras). Although the price is too high, Bugatti says the vehicle is already sold out.
