Scientists at MIT think that they can prevent sunlight from reaching our planet with air bubbles to be sent into space. According to researchers, if we can block only 1.5 percent of incoming light, we can avoid the full impact of global warming and climate change. That’s why a membrane is being planned to protect the Earth in space. This membrane will either absorb or reflect the light from the Sun. Thus, the amount of sunlight coming to Earth will be reduced.
